Michael K. J. Milligan is the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of ABET, the global accreditor of college and university programs in the STEM disciplines. In this role, Milligan is responsible for all aspects of ABET global operations and reports directly to the Board of Directors. Under his leadership, the organization has increased its geographical reach and diversity, now representing 35 member societies and over 3,700 accredited programs in 30 countries.Prior to joining ABET, Milligan held various positions in government and academia, including 24 years in the U.S. Air Force. He served as associate professor and deputy department head in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the U.S. Air Force Academy, and later worked at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. He earned his PhD from the University of Texas at Austin, his MS from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and his BS from Michigan State University. Milligan also holds an MBA from Western New England College and is a Certified Association Executive. He is a senior member of IEEE, a member of Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu engineering honor societies and a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado and Maryland.

Dr. J. Carlos Santamarina is Pro-fessor of Energy Resources and Petroleum Engineering and As-sociate Director of the Ali I. Al-Naimi Petroleum Engineering Research Center at KAUST in Thuwal, KSA. Prior to joining KAUST in 2015, he was Pro- fessor and Goizueta Foundation Faculty Chair at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in the USA. He is a frequent keynote lecturer in the field of energy geoscience and engineering, and delivered the American Society of Civil Engineers 50th Terzaghi Lecture on Energy Geotechnology. His is a two-time recipient of the International Hogentogler Award from ATSM and was British Geotechnical Association Touring Lecturer in 2012.

Dr. Ben Jaafar currently serves as the CEO of the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation for Education, one of the largest privately funded philanthropic education initiatives in the Arab world. Prior to this role, she was the Managing Director of EduEval, where she cultivated partnerships with governments, international agencies, not-for-profit organizations, and multinational corporations to promote evidence-based decisions for a greater positive impact on education. She holds a PhD in Educational Leadership, and a MA in Curriculum Studies from the University of Toronto. She is passionate about coupling her experience with her academic background to promote knowledge sharing and education for good.

Daniela Iacona is the Director for International Engagement and Governance at ABET, a non-profit, non-governmental organization that accredits college and university-level programs in the disciplines of applied & natural sciences, computing, engineering, and engineering technology worldwide. Ms. Iacona has supported ABET’s mission for fifteen years and has played a key role in the development and implementation of its global operations plan. Ms. Iacona currently oversees all of ABET’s international initiatives, including its engagement in mutual recognition agreements, memoranda of understanding, and global outreach and collaboration activities. In her dual role, Ms. Iacona is also responsible for managing all operational activities related to the governance of ABET. In this capacity, she is responsible for leading all Board of Directors, Board of Delegates, four Area Delegations and affiliated Council and Committees operational functions. Ms. Iacona earned her Master of Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and baccalaureate in International Studies from Old Dominion University. She has also earned ASAE’s Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation.

James N Warnock, PhD Professor & Founding Chair, School of Chemical, Materials and Biomedical Engineering University of Georgia James N. Warnock is a professor and the founding chair for the School of Chemical, Materials and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Georgia, Athens, USA. Before coming to Athens, Dr. Warnock served as the associate dean for academic affairs at Mississippi State University’s Bagley College of Engineering. He earned a doctorate in chemical engineering and a master’s in biochemical engineering from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, before completing a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute for Bioengineering and Biosciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a member of BMES and ASEE. Warnock has conducted research in the areas of cell biomanufacturing, bioreactor design, tissue engineering and cellular mechanobiology. He is actively involved in engineering education research and has earned international attention for his work on using problem-based learning to enable students to develop their professional skills. In 2011, he was invited to present work at the Frontiers of Engineering Education Symposium, hosted by the National Academy of Engineering. He currently serves as the director for Engineering Workforce Development for the NSF Engineering Research Center in Cellular Manufacturing Technologies (CMaT). Warnock is an adjunct director of training and instruction for ABET. In this role he supports the planning, production and execution of the organization’s professional-development programming and directs all activities related to educational offerings and workshop-facilitator training.

Expert in packaging processes and base funding for technology-based innovation with experience in several projects of chilean national relevance among which stands out u-planner; company with which he continues working up to date in the position of chief business officer.

Maurice Danaher is an Associate Professor in the College of Technological Innovation at Zayed University, United Arab Emirates. His Bachelor and Master's degrees are in Engineering and his PhD is in Information Technology (Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia). His research is in the area of IT Education and he has published extensively on quality aspects of IT and Engineering Education. His particular focus is in the area of quality assessment, and teaching and assessing the professional skills (as identified by ABET). Dr Danaher has extensive experience in industry and academia internationally. He has worked as an engineer in industry in the USA, Canada, England and Ireland. She served as the IEEE Women in Engineering chair for the UAE section and on the Executive committee of IEEE region 8 UAE section, from 2005-2013. Eng., in Electrical Engineering, Western Sydney University, Sydney Australia Dr. Mohamad received the Ph.D. degree in the field of High Voltage Power Systems from Western Sydney University where he also received his MEng (Hons) by Research and BEng in Electrical Engineering. Dr. Mohamad Joined the American University in Dubai (AUD) school of engineering in Fall 2017. Dr. Mohamad has 13 years' industrial experiences and 10 years’ academic experiences. His industrial experiences cover high voltage power system, renewable energy and advanced smart grid. Dr Mohamad also delivered numerous training workshops to national and international organizations within the electric power system and renewable energy industries. Dr Mohamad research interests include high voltage electrical power system, electrical machine, renewable energy and advanced smart grid for embedded generation. Dr Nassereddine awarded the “Outstanding Project Energy Manager of the Year Award” at the International Sustainable Government Housing in UAE, which was held during February 2019.
